The Lewisville Fire Ants edged the Dominican Republicans at the ballpark by
the score of 5 to 4.
Mark Buehrle(5-4) earned his pay with a solid performance for Buehrle. He
went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing 8 hits and 1 walk. Buehrle recorded 7
strikeouts and gave up 2 homeruns. The Dominican bats were silent in the
bottom of the 9th.
Buehrle got relief help from Chad Cordero who gained credit for his 7th save.
Eric Milton(4-5) took the loss. 'I didn't have my best stuff but sometimes
you just get lucky,' Buehrle said, 'this was one of those times.'
